Welcome to year 5.

Your teachers are Miss Stewardson and Mrs Jones. Your Teaching Assistant is Miss Hawkins.

 

Spellings are given out every Wednesday for a test the following Wednesday. Please help your child to learn them. 

Reading with an adult is the single most important thing for children to do. Please try to do so as often as possible, recording their successes in their reading records at least 4 times a week. We will take them in on a Friday to check. Reading = prizes in Y5!

Times Tables practice is really important! Children can use Times Tables Rock Stars (ttrockstars.com) to improve their speed. Times tables support most elements of maths and knowing them supports your children.

PE will be on a Monday and it is important to have the correct PE kit in school please.
